Tiny Town Builds World’s Tallest SnowWoman

BETHEL, Maine (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It takes a cool woman to get a tough job done.

That’s what they’re saying in Bethel, Maine, where residents have succeeded in building the World’s Tallest SnowWoman after a month of shoveling, stomping, and trucking in tons of snow.

The ice queen is named Olympia SnowWoman, and she stands at a little more than 122 feet tall, with skis for eyelashes, pine trees for arms, and accessorized with garland bracelets and a huge pendant necklace.

But she’s not the first towering snow sculpture to come to Bethel.

The World’s Tallest Snowman was built in the town in 1999.

Spokesperson Julia Reuter says, “We thought it was time to do it again, but we already had the record for a snowman so we thought we’d make a snowwoman. I guess it takes a woman to get the job done right. Maybe next time we’ll do the world’s tallest snow dog.”
