Carmen Electra Gets The Axe

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Before breaking into showbiz, Hollywood hottie Carmen Electra was the brave star of a mysterious magic act.

According to New York-based gossip reporter Baird Jones, the Meet The Spartans starlet once worked at an amusement park called King’s Island, close to Cincinnati, Ohio, as a magician’s assistant who was sawed in half during shows.

Electra – who revealed her halving history to Jones at the Suzy Wong Club in New York last Friday (Feb. 8) – says she performed her act during a King’s Island stage show called It’s Magic, in which she danced and was “part of illusions.”

Electra says, “I was the girl who was sawed in half. I was 17 and 18 [years old]. That was the job where I was able to save enough money to fly to Los Angeles and start my career. I owe so much to it.”

But the job wasn’t easy – any way you slice it.

She adds, “At first I was a little frightened that I might be sawed in half. It took a few rehearsals before I wasn’t afraid. I was nervous, but when I learned the illusion and got it down, it was fun.”
