Moms Dish On Their Favorite White House Candidates

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Moms are dishing on their top Presidential picks, and Hillary Clinton is falling short on the mom meter. – the largest and fastest growing social networking site on the Internet – has just conducted its own primary, and 53 percent of mom voters are standing behind Democratic candidate Barack Obama, while only 47 percent support Hillary.

But while Clinton isn’t the top pick for prez among ballot-casting mamas, they wouldn’t mind going on a lunch date with her.

With 36 percent, Clinton ranks as the candidate mom’s most want to have lunch with, while Obama scores only 23 percent of lunch dates with the ladies, and Republican Mike Huckabee trails with 16 percent.

Although moms have been known to love Oprah, more moms [28 percent] were influenced by the New York Times’ endorsement for Clinton than by Oprah’s celeb endorsement for Obama [26 percent].

And as far as political issues go, moms are all about their kids.

In regards to what they wish candidates would spend more time discussing, 36 percent of moms say universal healthcare for kids, 25 percent say improving schools, 14 percent are concerned about affordable college tuition, 13 percent about affordable childcare, and 7 percent care about safer toys.
