Clam Chowder And Peas Pizza Predicts Super Bowl Winner

MERRILLVILLE, Ind. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A man in Merrillville, Indiana, has concocted a Super Bowl treat that’s a real “pizza” work.

In honor of the New York Giants and the New England Patriots facing off in Super Bowl XLII this Sunday (Feb. 3), Ira Scott has devised a specialty pizza that will determine who wins the big game.

Scott’s Super Bowl pizza is made from half Green Giant peas to represent the Giants, and half New England Clam Chowder to represent the Patriots.

The unique pie is divided down the middle by a cheesy scrimmage line, but Scott predicts football fans enjoying a slice won’t be as divided.

Scott says the Patriots’ clam chowder side is much tastier than the Giants’ peas side, especially because “people don’t usually like to eat vegetables with their pizza.”

He also believes there aren’t many “vegetarian football fans” out there, so people will most likely reach for a slice of the Pats’ side.

And Scott says the superior side of the pie indicates the outcome of the Super Bowl, which means yet another win for the Patriots.

He says, “We hope the pea side wins the big game, but the odds are against the Giants. The pizza prediction is right on. The pizza never lies!”
