Everlast Sings For The Soldiers

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – In the War on Terror, one acclaimed artist is wielding his mic as a weapon.

Everlast – best known for his hit “What It’s Like” – has just released a video for his new song, “Letters Home from the Garden of Stone,” which shows the grim, gruesome reality of battlefield life.

But Everlast isn’t preaching, he’s proving a point.

He says, “This song isn’t about taking a side, it’s about remembering there are people fighting a war while we’re over here pumping gas and eating fast food. I don’t support the war, but I support the people over there.”

And despite his personal politics, Everlast isn’t strumming up any solutions.

He says, “The older I get, the more questions I have. I’m not telling people what to think, but look around, there’s some crazy st happening.”

And while he’s gotten fantastic frontline feedback, Everlast won’t be taking his tunes to the trenches.

He says, “I’d love to go over there, but I don’t think the government would let me.”
