‘10 Items Or Less’ Actor Shops On The Job

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One comedy series actor likes to go grocery shopping after work – right on the set of his show!

John Lehr – star and creator of the TBS improv comedy series 10 Items or Less – does his own grocery shopping after work, conveniently in the working grocery store in Reseda, California, where his show is filmed.

And since Lehr roams the familiar set all day, he has become quite a speedy grocery guru.

He explains, “I know where every single item in that grocery store is. I’ve gotten so strategic and quick while grocery shopping that I think I’d kill as a contestant on Supermarket Sweep! I’d definitely win.”

And Lehr isn’t the only one that takes advantage of the produce perks that come along with 10 Items or Less.

As soon as filming wraps, Lehr says the entire cast and crew grab carts and do their shopping too, and Lehr’s wife even gets in on the action.

Lehr says, “My wife will call me after work and ask me to pick up diapers for our 19-month-old, and it’s so easy because I’m already at the store. I’m like, ‘No problem, honey!’”

A new season of 10 Items Or Less premieres tomorrow (Jan. 15) on TBS.
