Pint-Sized Partiers Say ‘No Way’ To ‘Ole!’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One party-planning company is taking a tiny bite out of the bash-throwing business.

Tiny Entertainment is a Los Angeles-based service that sends pint-sized performers to all types of parties, from corporate events to frat parties, and founder Chris Fetterer says the little people business is booming.

With Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14) and St. Patrick’s Day (Mar. 17) approaching, Fetterer anticipates he’ll have to fill some tall orders, but one thing he’s never worried about is how his little guys are treated.

He says, “The guys aren’t laughed at – people are overwhelmingly concerned about their well being. They’re like mini celebrities.”

Though the little performers end up at peculiar gigs, like hired as extras on a porn film set, Fetterer says his midgets refuse one rowdy request: to walk around parties wearing a Mexican sombrero filled with chips and salsa.

And Fetterer also warns partying patrons that hiring a midget can get a bit too heavy for silly situations.

He says, “One guy wanted to carry a midget on his shoulders all night, but people don’t realize that our guys aren’t as tiny as Mini Me. They all weigh over 100 pounds.”
