Margaret Cho: ‘I’m A Good Asian Driver’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Margaret Cho is doing her part to end Asian stereotypes – one driver at a time.

The comedienne says she has no idea where the racial stereotype about Asians being bad drivers began, and says she, for one, is completely in control when she gets behind the wheel.

Cho explains, “I’m a very good driver. I can’t figure it out, but I’m trying hard to represent.”

Although she’s trying to make the roads safer for all Asians, she admits some stereotypes will never die.

Case in point: Cho was happy to learn that fellow Korean- American reality TV contestant Yul Kwon used his brain to win the battle of the races on Survivor: Cook Islands.

Says Cho: “I have to admit I was surprised the Asians didn’t figure out a way to make a computer on the island or something.”

Cho breaks down barriers by guest starring as Anthony Anderson’s wife on the FOX sitcom ’Til Death, which airs Wednesdays.
