Living In A Truck Can Scare The Ladies

KEY WEST, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One 25-year-old man is hitting the open road with his house closely in tow.

Chris Harne – a former junk hauler from Philadelphia – lives in an old U-Haul box truck, which he converted into a tiny home in order to live a “simpler life.”

The truckhouse, as he calls it, is insulated and decorated with old furniture he’s found over the years, but his home doesn’t have a shower or bathroom, so Harne bathes at the beach and uses a big plastic bottle when nature calls.

Harne says, “It’s kind of an experiment and an adventure. I wanted to live a simpler life because dealing with leases and rent ties you down and doesn’t allow you to follow your dreams.”

But Harne, who just drove his truckhouse to Key West, Florida, worries when it comes to how the ladies will feel about his mobile home.

He says, “I haven’t brought a girl back yet, but I try to only date girls who have a residence. It might be weird for them.”
