At least thats according to Ian Spector, who runs a website filled with weird Chuck Norris trivia called thetruthaboutchuck.com, and has just penned a book based on those farcical facts titled, The Truth About Chuck Norris: 400 Facts About The Worlds Greatest Human (Gotham Books).
The site and book boast ridiculous Norris factoids like Guns dont kill people, Chuck Norris does, and A cobra once bit Chuck Norris leg. After five days of excruciating pain, the cobra died.
However, Spector is a survivor of a real-life encounter with Chuck Norris, and admits he isnt as scary as the site implies.
Last year, after his website took off, Spector got to meet Chuck at a casino in Connecticut, where Norris was hosting a fighting championship.
Spector explains, My dad and I met Chuck Norris and his wife and it was actually a pretty calm encounter; no roundhouse kicks to the face or anything. He asked about the site and wondered why people thought he was such a powerhouse. He didnt quite get it, but I think he decided to just run with it.
The Truth About Chuck Norris roundhouse kicks its way onto shelves today (Nov. 29).
