Dead Pets Make Great Jewelry

OCEAN ISLE, N.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A company in North Carolina is offering some bling-bling your pet will die for – literally.

TS Pet Memorials is helping mourners let go of their fallen furry friends by putting their cremated remains into necklaces, and creator Thomas Shannon says the unique urns help keep perished pets close to their owner’s heart.

He says, “We started doing it with human cremains, but a lot of people wanted them for their pets too.”

But for those weirded out by wearing their pups, Shannon also offers headstones, teddy bear urns, and pet caskets that he says can also be used for “human babies, stillborns, or time capsules.”

Shannon adds, “We offer something better than taking the cat you’ve had for 20 years, sticking it in a bag, and throwing it in a trash can. The majority of my customers bury their pet in the backyard. When they move, they can unbury the caskets and take their pets with them.”
