‘Beauty and the Geek’ Cast-Off Digs Hip New Makeover

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Beauty and the Geek cast-off Luke Neyer may have gotten kicked off the show, but not before he went from geek to chic.

Neyer – who was eliminated from the competition this past Tuesday (Oct. 16) – got a Beauty and the Geek makeover on the show and says his new, sleeker look has really boosted his confidence. He explains, “I’ve never really been one to care too much about outward appearance, but now I feel more confident, and the makeover helped. As our makeovers grew on us, all of us geeks grew more confident. It was amazing.”

To keep his hair looking good, Neyer took tips from male “beauty” Sam Horrigan, who showed him the power of hair products.

Says Neyer: “Sam would give me hair tips and bust out like 20 different kinds of products and I’d be like, ‘Holy crap, this is hard work!’”

But even after the show, Neyer continues to maintain his hot new look.

He adds, “I’ve kept my hair and clothes nice. I also have a few free coupons for tanning so I’m going to try that out too.”
