Men Still Love ‘New York’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – VH1 reality dating star Tiffany “New York” Pollard may have gotten dumped three times on national TV, but that hasn’t stopped guys from trying to spit game to her.

Pollard – who was unable to find love on Flavor of Love and I Love New York – is currently looking for Mr. Right again on I Love New York 2, and says in between filming her dating shows, she’s been hit on by some pretty persistent players.

Pollard explains, “I get guys coming up to me all the time, saying they want to date me without being on the show. They’re like, ‘New York, I’m the right one, I just know it,’ and they’ll give me their numbers. I usually take their numbers to be nice, but I never call them. Some of those men are old enough to be my father! They could be my father’s friends!”

Instead, Pollard is doing her dating in front of the cameras, and expects that this time, the varied mix of guys on I Love New York 2 will turn up her one true love.

She explains, “My mom picked five guys to be in the house, my fans picked five guys, and I picked the rest, so it’s gotta work this time!”

I Love New York 2 premieres Monday (Oct. 8) on VH1.
