Insects, Mammoths, And A Walrus Penis, Oh My!

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you’re in the market for some prehistoric porn, then the Natural History Auction in Los Angeles is ready to throw you a bone.

I.M. Chait Auctions and Gallery is hosting its Natural History Auction this Sunday (Aug. 26) and among rare finds like dinosaur skeletons and mating insects in amber, a 12,000-year-old, four- and-a-half-foot tall, mummified walrus penis heads the long list of sought after items.

The massive member is possibly largest fossilized penis ever found, and gallery director Josh Chait expects bidders to go ga- ga over the erotic piece, which could sell for $15,000 to $18,000.

But although the mammal’s manhood seems a little risque for the average natural history buff, Chait insists it’s a nice, clean find for any serious collector.

Says Chait: “The penis is fossilized, so it doesn’t look as offensive as one would imagine, and people may actually mistake it for a giant tusk at first. It’ll definitely make a great conversation piece, but may be a little too big to display on a mantle or living room. The buyer definitely has to have the adequate space for it.”

And while Chait hopes to bring in big bucks for the boner, if the auction falls through, he won’t be personally housing the penis.

He adds, “If it doesn’t sell, I don’t want it!”
