‘The Closer’ Actor Isn’t Always A Bully

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The Closer actor Robert Gossett doesn’t mind bullying his co-stars on- screen, but when the cameras are off, he keeps it friendly.

Gossett plays tough-as-nails Commander Taylor on the police drama, and while his character gives Kyra Sedgwick a hard time on the show, Gossett insists he doesn’t bully her between takes.

Says Gossett: “Kyra is such a sweetheart that I couldn’t even try to bully her if I wanted to. Plus, I don’t think [her husband] Kevin Bacon would like that too much and I don’t want to get on his bad side!”

And while Gossett isn’t such a bad guy after all with his Closer co-stars, he’s got some tough critics at home that think he’s bad to the bone.

He explains, “My 11-year-old son was watching the show with me the other night and turned to me and said, ‘Man, Daddy, you’re just bad.’ He scolded me like I was a child, but all I could do was laugh and agree. He’s just happy I’m not a bully at home!”

The Closer airs Mondays on TNT.
