Incriminating Internet Pictures Haunt Your Future

DALLAS, Tex. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Guys, the next keg stand you do may give you a permanent hangover.

That’s the scoop from Internet expert Christopher Faulkner, founder of web hosting firm CI Host, who warns people to consider their career path before posting any racy pics of themselves on the web.

Faulkner warns, “Delete just means disappear, it doesn’t mean it’s gone.”

According to Faulkner, sites like Google and Yahoo make copies of people’s personal pages, so last night’s party pics might mean trouble tomorrow.

Faulkner cites examples of CEO’s who’ve lost their jobs because of scandalous pics from their college days, as well as Miss New Jersey, Amy Polumbo, who earlier this month feared she’d be stripped of her crown because of salacious pictures from her profile.

About Polumbo, Faulkner says, “We’ve all done probably ten times worse – the problem is she documented it and put it on the Internet for 150 million people to see.”

So how can you make sure your pics don’t end up ruining your life down the road?

Faulkner says, ‘If you don’t mind your grandma seeing it, go ahead and put it up.”
