‘Burn Notice’ Actors Feel The Burn

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actors from the new TV show Burn Notice know what it’s like to really feel the burn from losing a job.

Burn Notice star Jeffrey Donovan plays a spy trying to stay alive after getting fired from his undercover job, but the actor himself got terminated for teaching acting.

Donovan says he got the “ultra pink slip” when he was a camp counselor in college instructing kids about theater.

As he puts it, “I was trying to teach acting too seriously, and all they wanted me to do was show them how to be a clown or an elephant.”

And co-star Sharon Gless relates to Donovan’s big burn on the job, but compares it to the small snags she’s had in her career.

Gless muses, “I’ve had shows canceled.”

Burn Notice premieres on June 28th.
