True ‘American Idol’ Fans Try To Vote Sanjaya Off

LAS VEGAS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Off-key American Idol contestant Sanjaya Malakar will be kicked off the show soon if one man in Las Vegas has his way.

Website creator Stuart McHenry has started a retaliation movement called “Vote For The Rest” on in hopes of battling Idol cynics like Howard Stern and who are trying to rig the competition in Sanjaya’s favor.

McHenry thinks it’s ridiculous that Stern and VFTW are supporting Sanjaya, but believes Idol justice will prevail if viewers start taking the voting seriously.

Says McHenry: “Just vote for everyone BUT Sanjaya and it’ll be okay.”

Although Sanjaya is staying strong, McHenry speculates the cynical “Fan-jaya” craze won’t have enough steam to lead him into the finale.

McHenry adds, “I don’t see Howard Stern’s audience voting for too much longer. No matter what, they’re not effective enough to go up against die-hard fans who actually take the competition seriously.”

If Sanjaya does win, McHenry foresees a huge “American Idol boycott,” and says some of his site members have already promised to raise hell.
