Thats what happened to Denver-based newlyweds Albin and Melanie Ulle, who were picked by the Travel Channel to star in a new series, 1,000 Places To See Before You Die.
The Ulles traveled to 13 countries including Cambodia, Bhutan and Brazil and experienced both famous sights like Machu Picchu and the Taj Mahal, and unusual menu items such as roasted guinea pig in Peru and red ants in the Amazon.
Albin wasnt so thrilled about the guinea pig especially because they were alive when they first showed up at the restaurant.
Still, he and Melanie fell in love with red ants, and she says they have a citrusy taste like orange.
There were other discoveries as well. Albin was amazed to discover that Coca-Cola tastes much better everywhere else in the world besides America.
1000 Places To See Before You Die debuts March 29.
