Boston Rob: ‘No More Games Of Chance For Me’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When it comes to getting kicked off The Amazing Race: All-Stars, Rob and Amber Mariano are true ‘survivors.’

The duo’s comeuppance occurred Sunday (Mar. 11) and Rob admits they won’t do another race because it’s not “competitive enough” for them.

Says Mariano: “I love competing, but there’s a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff the audience doesn’t see. Too much of the game relies on a luck element and that’s frustrating.”

Mariano says he prefers the competitive nature of his first reality show, Survivor, because it’s more “grueling” and you can “manipulate” and win people over to score the prize.

As he puts it, “Going into Amazing Race the first time around I was like ‘If they’re gonna beat me that’s OK, but at least they can’t vote me off like on Survivor.”’

Mariano also believes winning Survivor is a bigger accomplishment because not only do you have to endure sleep deprivation like on Race, but you are also dealing with intense hunger and bug bites.
