Paul Wall Breaking Down Barriers In Hip-Hop Gaming League

SANTA MONICA, CA. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Rapper Paul Wall wants to be known as much for his video game skills as his “grillz,” and now he has the chance.

That’s because Wall is one of the rappers competing in the Hip-Hop Gaming League (HHGL), an online video game tournament featuring 32 hip-hop heavyweights competing for the ultimate gamer title.

The jeweler-turned-rapper was handpicked by rap mogul Snoop Dogg to compete, and this marks Wall’s second year in the tournament.

Naturally, he’s plotting revenge on fellow HHGL players by practicing at least two hours everyday and drinking an alcoholic concoction called “Texas Tea,” which he claims helps him focus.

Wall is also studying last year’s tournament video games, particularly Madden, and anticipating differences in the new versions.

Says Wall: “You also have to know your controller buttons and move your fingers fast. Constant text messaging on cell phones is the best training you can do for gaming.”

Wall hopes to be declared the HHGL champ when the organization holds its finals on February 16.
