Caroline Rhea Knows Witch In Every Language

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Caroline Rhea is called a witch everywhere she goes – but she takes it as a compliment.

That’s because The Biggest Loser host played Melissa Joan Hart’s witchy Aunt Hilda on the popular ‘90s sitcom Sabrina The Teenage Witch and says she still gets stopped by fans in the most unlikely places.

Says Rhea: “I just got back from Greece, and they were all pointing at me and calling me witch. I’ve learned to figure out what ‘witch’ is in the language of the country I’m visiting.”

She says she first noticed it in Italy when people would constantly point and call her “strega,” the Italian word for witch.

She says it took her awhile to catch on that they just recognized her from the show.

As she puts it, “The show is huge in Europe. It’s really interesting.”

She also has lots of fans stateside, but admits they’re mainly people who come up to tell her how much weight they’ve lost since tuning into Biggest Loser, which airs its season finale tomorrow (Dec. 13).

Rhea takes on another meaty role playing a mom with a weight problem in the Lifetime movie To Be Fat Like Me which premieres January 8.
