Ryan Seacrest Fears He’ll Sleep On The Job

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you snooze, you lose. That’s Ryan Seacrest’s biggest fear on New Year’s Eve.

For the second year in a row, Seacrest will be hosting Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and that means he’ll be staying up much later than his usual bedtime.

The American Idol host admits: “For the past few years, I’ve been going to bed at 8:30 p.m. because I get up at 4:30 in the morning. It’s the rare occasion I’m even up at midnight, much less working.”

Seacrest is hoping the energy and excitement of being in Times Square on New Year’s Eve will give him enough adrenalin to stay up past his bedtime but figures he’ll also “be doing a lot of shots of espresso.”

Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2007 airs, you guessed it, on December 31 and will feature performances by Christina Aguilera, Rascal Flatts and Natasha Bedingfield.
