Attorney Requests Warning Sticker Be Put On Bible

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Warning labels on record albums and movies are nothing new but now a New York attorney wants to put one on The Bible.

Attorney Mac Truong is currently going through legal channels trying to get companies that publish the Bible to put a warning label on the front page stating the book is a mixture of fact and fiction and should “be read at one’s own risk.”

For instance, Truong – who says he’s studied the Bible extensively – doesn’t think it’s possible for a virgin like Mary to give birth – even if the offspring is the son of God.

He says it’s more likely that Joseph made up the whole virgin birth to protect Mary’s reputation – and says the Bible, as written, doesn’t give him proper credit for instilling in Jesus the morals needed to say things like, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”

Although a warning label might offend some folks who take the Bible literally, Truong believes it would make the valuable teachings more realistic – and therefore more appealing – to modern audiences.
