Attorney Mac Truong is currently going through legal channels trying to get companies that publish the Bible to put a warning label on the front page stating the book is a mixture of fact and fiction and should be read at ones own risk.
For instance, Truong who says hes studied the Bible extensively doesnt think its possible for a virgin like Mary to give birth even if the offspring is the son of God.
He says its more likely that Joseph made up the whole virgin birth to protect Marys reputation and says the Bible, as written, doesnt give him proper credit for instilling in Jesus the morals needed to say things like, Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
Although a warning label might offend some folks who take the Bible literally, Truong believes it would make the valuable teachings more realistic and therefore more appealing to modern audiences.
