‘America’s Most Wanted’ Looks Good On Some Resumes

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Appearing on America’s Most Wanted doesn’t usually look good on one’s resume – if you’re the criminal in question – but one reenactment actor got a career boost from the show.

According to host John Walsh, one actor was so good at playing a bad guy that he got arrested twice in real life after appearing on the show.

Instead of getting mad, he decided to capitalize on it. Says Walsh: “He even took out an ad telling people they should cast him as their next bad guy because of his work on Most Wanted.

Walsh admits he doesn’t pick the actors who appear in the show’s crime reenactments because the filming takes place in the town where the crime took place and the producers tend to use local actors they find in the community.

Still, Walsh says the locals constantly amaze him with their acting abilities.

One thing he doesn’t put up with is soap opera divas.

As he puts it, “We are the first reality show and we treat the cases seriously since we are dealing with real murderers.”
