Weed Is A Dirty Word To Marijuana Connoisseur

SONOMA, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Using the word “weed” to describe marijuana is as bad as using the N- word according to one serious cannabis connoisseur – it’s a major no-no.

Ganja guru Jason King is the author of a new book called The Cannabible 3 (Ten Speed Press) and says the word is “retroactive” and gives the impression that the plant has negative energy.

King has been photographing and writing about herb for ten years and says he just can’t stand it when people disrespect such a “beautiful flower.”

Says King: “I prefer to call it medicine or herb or ganja – but never weed – that’s just derogatory.”

He also says he hates the use of the word “pot” because it gives him images of a toilet.

Despite these marijuana mistakes, King says he doesn’t get overly offended when someone calls his beloved plants the wrong names because they just “don’t’ understand.”
