Iranian-American Comedian Plays Matchmaker For Iranian And American Presidents

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The President of the United States and the President of Iran might be a match made in paradise.

Comedic actor Maz Jobrani – who stars in the upcoming ABC sitcom, The Knights Of Prosperity – says it’s obvious to him the two are a perfect match – but don’t realize it – even as they both gave speeches yesterday (Sept. 19) at the United Nations.

Jobrani was born in Iran, but raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, which means it’s easy for him easy to see the many similarities between America’s George W. Bush and Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

As Jobrani puts it: “Think about it. They’re both very religious; both hate liberals; both like to defy the [United Nations] – in fact, both can be hostile to democracy.”

He adds, chuckling: “It’s like a match made in... I don’t know – some afterlife, that’s for sure.”

The Knights Of Prosperity – which previously was titled, Let’s Rob Mick Jagger debuts October 17.
