Hard Rock – And Hard Work – Is Just Beginning For Lukas Rossi

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Now that Lukas Rossi has been declared the winner of Rock Star: Supernova, he admits the hard rock – and hard work – is just beginning.

The 29-year-old singer says he did spend Wednesday (Sept. 13) night partying with the band to celebrate, but was in bed at the relatively early hour of 2 a.m.

He says that’s because he realizes his new job as the lead singer for the nascent band formerly known as Supernova is going to be harder than his previous gigs.

In his words, “It’s a job and I take it very seriously.”

Although Rossi was confident he had the chops before he went on the CBS reality show, he admits he did learn a few things he never expected.

As he puts it, “I learned about people; how they are fragile when they’re under stress. And I learned when to back off and when to speak.”

Now he’s going to learn about life under a spotlight because his first official gig with the band -- under a moniker to be chosen later -- is on New Year's Eve at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.
