University Of Maryland: America’s Top Stoner School

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When it comes to putting the “high” in higher education, it’s hard to top the University of Maryland.

According to High Times magazine, the university is the No. 1 “stoner school” in America, in part because the students recently voted to reduce the penalty for pot smoking on campus to the equivalent of underage drinking.

The students are now working on a plan that will stop school officials from bringing city police onto campus to deal with minor marijuana infractions.

Another campus on the list: University of California at Santa Barbara, where students are so pro-pot that many have traveled to other campuses to start legalization clubs.

The University of Missouri, Columbia gets high marks, too, for convincing locals to vote for an initiative rendering marijuana arrests the city’s lowest law enforcement priority.
