San Diego Woman Makes Her Dogs Pull Her Weight

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You’ve heard of putting the cart before the horse, but a woman in San Diego puts her dogs before the cart.

Her name is Joy de la Ren and she’s an avid practitioner of “dog carting.”

De la Ren suffers from a form of arthritis that periodically confines her to a wheelchair; She discovered the benefits of carting ten years ago during what might be called a metaphysical moment of canine intervention.

She says her pooch sensed her desire for mobility and took her on an impromptu ride across the apartment.

Since then, de la Ren dogs it around town several times a week and only stops her rover rides so they can perform synchronized dance routines.

Of course, de la Ren’s dogs may be exceptionally prepared to do her bidding. They are members of a dog breed she designed called “Schnoodles Of Joy,” which are known for their exceptional psychic ability.

But while de la Ren’s dogs pull her weight, she also makes them pull theirs as well. She pays for dog food and other pet products by selling advertising on the side of her cart.
