Old Bats Can Teach Young Starlets A Thing About Love

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra’s marriage may be on the rocks, but that doesn’t mean things can’t work out says one Los Angeles-based dating guru.

A self-proclaimed “Dating Dahling,” Candace McKenzie says the couple could learn a thing or two about love from their elders – mainly Oscar-winning couple Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, who’ve been married for 48 years.

She says one reason why Newman and Woodward are able to work together on and off screen is because they didn’t rush into their marriage – a concept foreign to many young celebrities.

Of course, it also helps that the two are close in age and try to stay they’re in the same zip code as much as possible, which is reportedly one of the reasons why Electra and her Rock Star hubby failed.

There is hope for the Navarros, but only if each of them work on themselves before trying to heal the relationship.

McKenzie offers relationship advice to non-celebrities as well in her new book, Be A Dating Dahling (AuthorHouse).
