Rivera is the one reporter that convicted murderer and former handyman Daniel Pelosi turned to in order to explain who really killed millionaire Ted Ammon in his East Hampton home back in 2001.
In an exclusive Geraldo at Large interview tonight (May 24), Pelosi sends Rivera on a hunt to find the security camera tape that will reveal Ammons true killer to the world.
Pelosi claims the killer threw the evidence into a river because he didnt want Pelosi to be involved in the investigation, since he was having an affair with Ammons wife at the time.
But Rivera isnt completely buying the conniving construction workers story, which he thinks plays out like a bad TV movie.
Still, Rivera ranks the case up there with the Scott Peterson trial because of its elements of sex, violence, money and crazy alibis.
Although Rivera calls Pelosi a defense attorneys nightmare, the fact that the defendant lost his temper more than once during the jailhouse interview provided dynamite material for the show.
