Rock The Top Doggie Music At Festival In Austin

AUSTIN, Tex. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It’s not enough to change the musical question to “Who Let The Dogs In?” at a lunchtime music festival today (May 9) in Austin, Texas.

The organizers of the first-ever Canine Concert at Woolridge Square Park are going to feature a band that plays music that ONLY dogs can hear, and they’ve polled would-be concert- goers and dog-owners online to find out what style of music to play for the pups.

The canine tuneage of choice? Rock music, of course.

The funny thing is, says the dog-tired organizer John Small, “Classical music did come in a close second,” beating out country & western and rap.

The concert, which starts at noon CST, will feature a dog- house band called Porter Davis, and is free and open to all dogs on leashes with their humans.

Donations to local animal shelters will be accepted and information on animal shelters will also be provided.
