Communications expert Laurie Puhn says many college admissions officers are now trolling myspace.com looking for reasons to reject applicants.
Puhn says university bigwigs especially look down on webpages by people who curse or list their sexual exploits in detail.
Also, mentioning preferences in races, religions or drugs on myspace turns off the academia nuts and posting a photo of yourself in a skimpy swimsuit is also a touchy issue.
Even worse: Puhn has seen youngsters who were rejected because they admitted on the site that they dont like helping other people.
Although the web page is becoming a way people express their personalities, Puhn says its best not to post anything you dont want your grandma to see.
