Dee Wallace has spent the last six months working on Sons And Daughters, a new comedy debuting March 7 on ABC, and admits shes never had more fun on a job.
That surprises her, considering the dialogue is improvised and shes never done improv except in Cujo.
The 54-year-old Wallace is playing her first grandmother role and while she was worried that it might typecast her as an oldster, she signed up for the role because, as she puts it, Everybody talks about how good my character is in bed.
No word on how successful the show will be, but Wallace is hoping her role makes grannies sexy in the way that Desperate Housewives helped turn fortysomething women into hotties.
