Rapper Hopes To Get His Kicks Skating Down Route 66

MIAMI (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When it comes to nostalgic America, Route 66 and roller skates go hand in hand – or at least that’s what one skating sensation thinks.

Singing roller skater Robby Love – who calls himself the “Roller Rapper” – is planning an eight wheel adventure down historic Route 66.

He is currently scouting out the highway in his car but hopes to embark on his roller skating journey in May.

True to the immortal song, Love is starting in Chicago because “that’s the proper way to do Route 66” and will be skating his way through St. Louis; Joplin, Missouri, and other cities mentioned in the lyrics.

But Love won’t be alone. He is bringing a camera crew along to film the trip for his new music video, “Skate,” which is a remix of KC and the Sunshine Band’s “Shake.”

Appropriately, Love plans to stop at skating rinks and other cultural landmarks along the way to perform the song.
