Designer Disposable Sandwich Baggies Created For Fashionistas – And Their Kids

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When two New York fashion industry vets got bored using plain, old Ziploc bags, they had no choice but to go designer.

Sandra Campos-Isaacman says even though she had luxury Tod and Prada handbags, she found herself using Ziploc bags every day for food, travel and even to carry around little items.

Rather than look shabby carrying plain plastic bags – or send her three kids to school with them – she and her husband used their fashion backgrounds to create a line of chic, disposable sandwich baggies.

Though the bags with designs like big dots, colorful stripes and pink-toned camouflage can be used for lunch items, Campos- Isaacman admits, “We like to see ourselves as more of a fashion accessory.”

The couple is even in talks with big name fashion designers to contribute the next line of baggies, though Campos-Isaacman can’t say who at the moment.

This may not be just a fad. Campos-Isaacman says she’s heard kids in New York say, “I need my Mobi bags.”

A box of 20 designer bags costs $4.99 and can be found at upscale gift stores or online at
