The group calls itself TriTriad Productions and for the last two years theyve recorded 100 hours of orgasms and are now using the moans and groans much like a guitar player uses chords or a drummer uses beats.
Spokesman Chris Jones says the idea came about when he and his partner in love and music were at a swing club surrounded by horny couples having sex to pulsing techno beats.
So they started recruiting couples willing to be recorded during sex.
Some sex sounds are more conducive to sensual trance music and other orgasms are perfect for a throbbing beat. And while extraneous sounds such as squeaky beds are edited out of the mix, Jones says theyre ecstatic that one couple reached climax right when a passing train blew its whistle.
Not every orgasm is musically appropriate. Jones says some women sound like theyre crying and he figures thats more appropriate for country music.
