Thanksgiving Cocktails Make Any Turkey Wild

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Everyone associates egg nog with Christmas and green beer with St. Patricks Day and, so far, Thanksgiving has gone with out its own cocktail.

But that could change thanks to enterprising mixologists like Michael Waterhouse, who works for a cocktail think tank known as Drink Tank.

He thinks the original Plymouth Rock settlers should be toasted with something called “Pilgrims Punch,” a one- ounce shot of raspberry-flavored beer dumped into 20 ounces of Guinness.

If that’s not your taste, former bartender Leslie Licano suggests something called a “Pumpkin Pie,” which has pumpkin liqueur mixed with milk and is topped with whipped cream and cinnamon.

There’s also the Cape Codder, which combines cranberry juice and vodka, but if you want something simple, you might want to celebrate Thanksgiving by doing shots of Wild Turkey.
