Danica Patrick, Tony Danza Altercation A Possibility

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Another off-track altercation may soon be a very real possibility for Danica Patrick.

That’s because the 23-year-old Indycar Series Rookie of the Year is racing Tony Danza in a go-kart challenge that will air today (Oct. 21) on The Tony Danza Show and she says she’s a little worried Danza might run her off the road.

In her words, “I hope it doesn’t happen, but you never know. Look what happened last time with Tony,” referring to the time Danza crashed his go-kart during a race against Rusty Wallace on his show.

However, if Danza does cause a collision, Patrick didn’t say if she would poke Danza in the head, which driver Jacques Lazier accused Patrick of doing last weekend after they got into a crash during a race.

Just like real races, Patrick plans on thanking sponsors after the race – in this case, the event’s main sponsor, Network Solutions – because she figures, “someone has to put this thing on,” and should be acknowledged.
