Dwayne ‘Dog’ Chapman Won’t Dog Actors

HONOLULU (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Think acting is an easy job? You’ll get an argument from famed bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman.

The “Dog” just filmed his first acting role, playing a neighbor on the ABC sitcom, George Lopez, and says it was one of the biggest challenges of his life.

In his words, “I understand how [actors] make a lot of money, with all the memorizing of lines and hitting the marks.”

Still, Dog loved the chance to play a biker and says even though he is not one in real life, he knows that type of person.

Dog’s guest role will air on Oct. 5 and he hopes it leads to other parts but admits, “I don’t know if I could play a doctor on ER but I could do Sinbad The Sailor.”

In the meantime, Dog isn’t giving up his day job but admits that acting has some advantages over bounty hunting. As he puts it, “All you do is laugh all day and it’s hard to feel that way after you’ve arrested someone.”

Dog The Bounty Hunter airs Tuesdays on A&E.
