American Idols Have A Sunny Disposition About Storm Benefit

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Some people are actually benefitting from Hurricane Katrina, such as American Idol’s season four finalists.

The group was scheduled to end its summer tour tomorrow night (Sep. 10) in Syracuse, New York, but have added an extra concert on Sunday (Sep. 11) to benefit hurricane victims.

It’s also a benefit to singers like finalist Constantine Maroulis who is looking forward to even a slight extension of what he says has been a very enjoyable summer.

In his words, “I love the grind, especially being out here with my friends.”

Maroulis expects the set list will be changed to reflect the somber occasion but there will still be showstoppers that fans expect like his version of “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

But for him, friendship is the bottom line. As he puts it, “There is no place I’d rather be on Sept. 11 than with my friends.”

After the tour’s end, Maroulis will kick his budding career into even higher gear by recording but is also hoping to explore some “acting opportunities” that have come his way.
