Hef’s Reality Show A ‘Rorschach Test’ For Couch Potatoes

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You may think Hugh Hefner’s new show, The Girls Next Door, is just another reality show but he sees it – and his life – as something more psychologically significant.

As he puts it, “I’ve often thought of my life as a Rorschach test because people project their own dreams, fantasies or fears on it.”

These days, the fantasies are likely to get big attention because the show – which airs Sundays on the E! network – focuses on the lives of the 79-year-old Playboy mogul’s three blonde girlfriends: Holly, Bridget and Kendra.

Hef has turned down reality show offers for years but agreed to do this one, in part, to dispel the stereotypes people have about beautiful blondes because, he points out, “the girls all have distinctive personalities.”

Hef didn’t lay down any ground rules to the film crew but admits he probably won’t be “allowing them into my bedroom at midnight.”
