‘Lennon’ The Musical Actor Not Having A Cow Over Previous Role

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – From playing a cow to John Lennon, actor Chad Kimball is moooving on up.

Kimball currently plays the lead role of the dead Beatles star in the musical, Lennon, but in 2001 he played the part of Milky-White the Cow in the Steven Sondheim revival of Into the Woods at the Broadhurst Theater – the same theater he’s performing at now.

He says the stage hands are still the same and still give him a hard time for playing a cow, even though Entertainment Weekly magazine named him one of “the 100 most creative people in entertainment” for its “It List” back in 2001.

But rather than have a cow over it, Kimball says he’s “milking it for all it’s worth” and hopes to be, in his words, “the udderly best John Lennon I can.”

Lennon opens Sunday (Aug. 14).
