Vampire Killer’s Sister Admits Growing Up In Public Bites

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actress Michelle Trachtenberg learned a valuable lesson while playing Sarah Michelle Geller’s little sister on Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Growing up in public really bites.

The 19-year-old actress enjoyed her experience on the cult drama, save for “slightly awkward moments involving training bras and pimples – all of it happening in front of millions of viewers.”

Luckily, Trachtenberg has no visible scars and is hoping to show the public she’s all grown-up with her new film, The Dive From Clausen’s Pier, which debuts Monday (Jul. 25) on the Lifetime Channel.

Trachtenberg plays a young woman who runs away to start a new life after her childhood sweetheart is paralyzed in a diving accident.

Given the role’s slight similarity to the recent Jennifer Wilbanks “Runaway Bride” case, you might think Trachtenberg has some insight on Wilbanks’ flight.

But you’d be wrong.

As she puts it, “I believe my first reaction was, ‘What if she left him because there’s some kind of problem with the catering?’”
