Wedding Costs Can Be Stripped By Baring All

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The cost of a wedding is shooting through the roof these days, but a huge chunk of change can be saved by stripping down and going clothes-free.

That’s the naked advice from Carolyn Hawkins, a spokesperson for the American Association for Nude Recreation.

She says folks who have had nude weddings have saved “thousands of dollars” by not having to drop money on clothes and accessories for the bridesmaids or groomsmen.

Instead, the only money typically spent on wedding attire for a naked wedding is for a veil for the bride, a bow tie for the groom and a little sunscreen for lovebirds with pasty complexions.

The normal nudist wedding costs around $500, Hawkins says, well below the average clothed wedding, which can run into the tens of thousands of dollars.

She believes the low cost is contributing to the growing number of nudist weddings, which have seen a surge in recent years in hot spots such as Florida and California.
