Self-proclaimed medicine hunter Chris Kilham has spent the past 10 years traveling the world looking for the most arousing plants and has put his findings into a new book, Hot Plants (St. Martins Press).
Kilham says a Peruvian root called Maca can radically boost sexual desire in men and women, and is especially helpful for older women going through menopause.
He claims one bite of this potent plant will set off Chinese fireworks in your pants.
Kilham also says the bark of the Yohimbe tree, which is found in West Africa, is natures equivalent to Viagra, helping soft males pitch a tent though it has been known to cause high blood pressure and insomnia.
Finally, Kilham says the roots of Malaysia-based Tongkat Ali trees increase testosterone, which can help with endurance and stamina in the bedroom.
