Big Girl Bloggers Weigh In On Weight Loss

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A new book is weighing in on the battle of the bulge.

The book Tales from the Scale (Polka Dot Press), contains short stories collected from the blogs of overweight women.

Author Erin Shea calls them stories of “women of Big Girl Town” to inspire lady lardasses to shed the pounds.

The tales include one about the woman who as a young girl gobbled up laxatives after binge sessions and began wearing maxi pads as diapers in case she was away from the bathroom when the stool-loosening drugs kicked in.

Another big girl blogger wrote how after slimming down from 350 pounds she could finally see her vagina “previously obscured by the tsunami of flesh that was my stomach.”

Finally, one woman writes about the startling discovery of what happened to her boobs when she lost the weight.

In her words, “I mourn the passing of their former, plumper selves and I wonder what the future will hold.”
