Men Being Kept Abreast About Breast Cancer

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A new breast cancer awareness group is hoping the best way to gain support is by keeping men abreast about their work.

The new group is called “Breast Awareness Benefits Everyone” – or BABE for short – and plans to target the people who love breasts the most: The male-oriented entertainment industry.

BABE founder Marcia Hrichison, who is a breast cancer survivor, says during her illness, a friend gave her a teddy bear wearing a pink T-shirt and another asked if buying a pink mixer where proceeds went to breast cancer research would help.

Hrichison says she realized none of these things represented her. In her words, “Things need to be a lot more fun.”

That’s why she started BABE, and to kick off her non- profit organization she’s holding a titillating XXX Tequila party at a bar in Los Angeles tomorrow (Apr. 29) where there will be an exhibition of 30 different porn stars’ portraits.

In the future, she’s hoping to convince other men in the adult industry to hold silent auctions or come up with a product to sell to raise funds.
