For $90 an hour, employees at Hair Fairies remove the pesky parasites in three to four non-toxic treatments.
The salon is the second opened by the company to cater directly to people with head lice, joining one in Beverly Hills, Calif., which opened in 1999.
Salon spokesman Michelle Wolloff says the majority of clients are kids and the insides of the lice-killing salon can attest to that: It contains Game Boys, toys and books for the kids.
Wolloff says the goodies are there to create a relaxed atmosphere for the kids because having head lice is a nerve- racking experience for many tots.
So far, Wolloff says business is doing really well and there are plans to open up more salons in Miami, Chicago and Atlanta.
